What's the most commonly preferred tee length for using with the driver - 2 3/4" or 3 1/4"? I wish someone made a good 3" tee but I can't find them.

dmnoland

Totally up to you. That is something that you can easily work out on the range. For me I prefer Pride Pro Length 2 3/4" yellow on white tees for driver. Anything else I use a broken tee at ground level.

BuckeyeNut

I prefer the medium length tees because I don't tee the ball especially high. The really long tees are only good for 1 swing....LOL

B-Con

I use 2 3/4". I don't like having the mid-point of the ball sit any higher than the top of the clubface at address, so that height is fine for me no matter how high I want to adjust my tee.

saevel25

Standard 2-3/4, its perfect length for me. Though i use broken tees for my irons and 3-wood.

mikelegacy

I'm sharing the sentiment of everyone else in terms of using broken tees for my irons. I've seen my friends dig 3 1/4" tees in the ground the WHOLE way to tee up their irons...it's like...what are you doing? But for my driver, I prefer the 3 1/4" tees.

Whiskey84

The 2 3/4" tees are fine as long as the ground isn't too sandy. 3+" tees are just too long for anything other than a driver. I usually search for a broken tee on any hole I hit an iron off the tee.
