Is the Par 3 course walkable?

I've been to this course three times in the past couple months. At first I was reluctant as it was a Par-3 course. Yes, it is.....but don't be fooled. This course is challenging. And on weekends, there's a 'players' course with par 4 & 5's. It a very walkable course, and push carts are included with the $15 greens fee. There are carts available, but I've not used them. The course can be a bit confusing, but the staff do a great job of explaining the unusual course. They are also very customer serviced focused. Loved having my bag loaded onto the cart, bottles of water given at beginning of course and the guy came out on the course to bring us more. We have had this level of service all three times we've played. A few years down the road, the trees will have matured and provide more shade. Only a couple water hazards, but sand traps are everywhere.

Is the Oak Room in the clubhouse good?

Aside from that, the clubhouse and pay for play golf is really very nice. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The Oak Room for lunch is really great. We ate there during our two trips there and each meal was really very good...the service was excellent but the restaurant was not crowded when we went so I really could not see the service or the food quality when it is busy. To support the dining facilities they allow outside, non residence eat there. I was told that will end when they community has more permanent residences.
