I have two towels available this time of year. One damp for cleaning clubs and grips, the other one just dry for wiping off hands and face from sweat.

That might actually work. I play the GP microsuede grips and LOVE them? I also live here in AZ where sweat can wreak havock on both grips and keeping the club in your hands. The mocrosuedes are just the tour wraps buffed down with a light grit sanding belt. They're pretty inexpensive at $5 ea. So far after 3 mo, there's no noticeable wear.

Don't get white grips, thats how you keep them clean. Some people use windex and water mixture, and bush them down real well. Some corded grips, that might become glazed over, you can use sandpaper and roughen them back up to get the cord exposed again.

Rubbing alcohol! Use it on your gloves as well and they'll be like velcro. Note I only use rubber grips... no idea if this may harm some of the poly grips out there.

1) Don't buy golf pride grips. They wear the worst. 2) Buy Lampkin. They last the longest and stay tacky. 3) Use water and a towel...an old towel as it will most likely turn black during this process When your rubbing the grips, you will effectively be wearing some of the rubber off and renewing the grip.

I've posted this before. But I will post again. This method is utilized by tour caddies and it is foolproof. 1) Hit the grips with sandpaper, gritty sandpaper. 2) Wash them with dishsoap and water 3) Dry 4) Done deal, grips that aren't too old should be good to go. If they still aren't tacky....time for new grips.
