Thanks for the replies guys. I've played these a few times now and definately like them better than the ProV1X. Better feel and I like the short game control. It's easier to chip these consistently. I get the same amount of controlable spin each shot.

I tested extensively the following balls this year: 20xi-X Srixon XV 2011 Prov1 and Prov1x I liked the TP Black LDP significantly more than all of these balls.

It always feels a bit hard to me for some reason...not sure why. I like the TM Burner TP LDP, but not the black or Red.

SwingBlues

Yeah, the TM Red LDP is the most legendary ball, imo. TM dropped the ball big time by discontinuing this particular ball. Anyway, this thread is about the black and as most posters have said, the LDP Black is a high spin and high launch ball for me, too high.

Large David Hammer

TP Black LDP is still on the market, at the lower price point, ($29.99 or better) and staying out there as far as I know... They're still very much on the website with the Penta and new Burners. GREAT BALL! Phenomenal all-around performer. Long, good spin, feel great. Stock-up confidently!!

storm319

The original TP RED and TP BLACK had the 322 dimple design on the cover, both where three piece urethane ball.

Just out of curiosity, how does this ball compare with the Penta? I like the Penta (although there may be a little too much spin off the tee for me with it, MAYBE) but it's hard to afford.
