If you're planning to go test some clubs at your local golf store on an LM or a simulator would you bring along your golf shoes? Or is that just kinda silly...

if I'm going just to hit with no intention to buy, I don't. If I'm getting fitted or looking to buy, I do.
blink3665
I would. I went once without them. I was in my work shoes (dress shoes). That turned out horribly. I was slipping and sliding all over the place. It resulted in me overgripping the club and almost always losing balance at different times during the swing...

Excellent. I'm planning to go in and get fitted for a driver so I really want to be able to make a good swing at it. Wearing your golf shoes really shouldn't be out of the ordinary in this case.

Not silly at all, especially if you're going for a fitting, you want everything to pretty much be as it would be when you're playing. I have gone in during work hours just to goof around and hit a few balls in my work/dress shoes.

Why is that wierd...would you test a hockey stick out on the ice without skates? Maybe you would, I dont know, I dont know much about hockey. Its was just the first thing I thought of, but that sound wierd.
