We based our rankings on opinion, feel and facts. For opinion we looked at three areas the manufacturers value when developing the club. Cosmetics may not necessarily affect performance, but can make a dramatic difference to the confidence we feel when we look down at address. They can also influence our ability to aim the face.

A proper fitting is key to maximizing distance with any driver, but it’s particularly important in this category because of the tendency of these drivers to launch lower and with less spin than other models.
