The Black DCI's in cavity -precursor of the 962- are on "the list" and most certainly not dated. in my opinion.

I have a set of DCI Golds and they are one of the finest set of irons that I have ever played with. The mid and long irons are very easy to hit.

Played Blacks for several years. Loved them. Got tired of not being able to keep the logo on the sole clean and changed to 962's played them for 8 years.

I wish I still had my black triangle DCI irons with S300s I had four birdies in one round with those! (Very good for me), They had soft feel for a cast club and were as forgiving as anything.........Did you have to do this to me??????????

Nessism

Black triangle had less offset as I recall. I had a set of black triangles but got rid of them because of a ballooning tendency; when ever I tried to extend the distance a little the ball would fly super high, but not farther. With hind sight I think the problem was shaft related mostly.
