I miss that guy - nothing was better than watching golfing greats sit down and let loose in an actual informative interview .... PERRRFECT. I even loved his Perfect Club infomercial.

I loved his time on TGC too, but you can listen to him daily on PGA Tour Radio. Great content and guests. In a way it's better, since you get much more info on radio than you would in limited time shown on [s]The [/s] Golf Channel.

The problem with the interview was his follow up questions on the subject. He kept pressing the issue after Arnold gave his opinion and it clearly irritated the boss. If he had just accepted his answer and moved on, he might still be there. You don't irritate or embarrass the boss on national TV.

Crazy stuff...Palmer is a powerful dude in the golf world. Guy hasn't had an inch...only thing i've seen him in is that perfect club commercial. Kinda sad for someone as good as Kessler. Soothing voice that fellow.

I love all this speculation that Arnold had him fired. Where is the proof of that? I knew several of the channel's execs. from back then and they fired Peter not Arnold (chose not to renew his contract). Was that the straw that broke the camel's back---you bet (they didn't feel Arnold should have been treated like that).
