OHSAA Releases Rules for High School Golf, Set to Begin Aug 1st. The Ohio High School Athletic Association released sport-specific return-to-play guidelines yesterday, including one for boys and girls high school golf. The OHSAA said it is offering these recommendations with the objective of commencing fall sports seasons on August 1st.
Is school participation voluntary?
The OHSAA said participation in school activities is voluntary and every individual will need to evaluate the risk versus the benefits of athletics participation. Additional consideration should be given by those who live with family members with elevated health concerns, and those students should evaluate associated risks of participation.
