A Kimball's Special is only a special in its purest form The combination of the flavors of ice cream with the combination of toppings makes the Kimball's Special, special. Any changes to the ice cream flavors or toppings should be allowed but it isn't a Kimball's Special.
Where golf is more fun!
Kimball Golf Club was established in 1968. The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand. It was originally created as a nine hole course, but after 30 years of play, 9 more holes were added. The second nine or “back nine” opened in 1997. Some of the new holes were intermixed with the original holes.

It all started in 1939, when Jack Kimball and his wife Clara converted the family’s woodshed into an ice cream parlor. A cone of one of their famous flavors – maple walnut, frozen pudding or peppermint stick – would run you five cents.

Our Westford location is buzzing with classic summer fun with outdoor activities like Mini Golf, Bumper Boats and Batting Cages. All of our activities are now open for the 2021 season! You can spend an hour or spend the day! (Closed for the season)
How many acres are there at Four Winds Golf Course?
Designed to be enjoyed by the individual golfer regardless of his or her ability while also being as challenging as one desires. The entire 320 acres slope by nature from south to north, from I-80 to the Historic Lincoln Highway. If you are wondering where the name comes from, you will realize its origin once you experience breezes from all four directions during an 18-hold round. Enjoy a championship course, all day green fees, driving range, and practice putting greens. Four Winds Golf Course also offers cart and club rentals.
When is Four Winds closed?
Welcome to Four Winds Golf Course! The pro shop is closed from November 1 to mid March every year, but the course is only closed from January 1 to mid-March each year. In addition to the golf course, a driving range, a practice putting green, carts and clubs are available.
What is a junior practice area?
A junior practice and playing area, complete with gazebo, was made possible by a grant from the United States Golf Association. The Junior Golf Program, financed by a local foundation, provides an instruction and playing program available to children ages 4 to 18. This area is always free to the public.

Four Winds Golf Course is aptly named, as it is not uncommon for golfers to experience breezes from all four directions during an eighteen hole round, caused by the natural hills and trees. With over 5,000 trees planted and four water hazards Four Winds Golf Course gives golfers of all capabilities a fantastic golf experience.
