Hole 16 – Par 3

Lefty found the green to the left and DeChambeau spun one off the back hill to finish inside 20 feet and give Rodgers the chance to end the match with a birdie putt. Rodgers, like he did multiple times earlier in the round, walked in the putt for birdie and the win.

Hole 15 – Par 5

Three down with four to play and the door was opened for Mickelson and Brady to make a move. The pair had a putt for eagle while DeChambeau and Rodgers struggled to reach the green. The hole was conceded without Brady-Mickelson having to putt, setting up what could be an epic comeback.

Hole 14 – Par 4

It’s the Capital One Club Challenge. Each player drew an envelope with the one club they were allowed to use for the hole. Rodgers has 3-wood. DeChambeau has pitching wedge. Brady has 7-iron and Mickelson 4-iron.

Hole 13 – Par 4

Both teams made a real mess of this hole, with Mickelson the only player to find the fairway. Both struggled to find the green but were able to two-putt for bogey to halve the hole. Really you didn’t miss much in this one at all besides some really average self-deprecating humor.

Hole 12 – Par 3

Trying to play the bank on the left side to feed onto the green with a right pin location, Mickelson’s shot got stuck on the fringe and failed to release while DeChambeau tucked a shot within eight feet to give Rodgers a birdie putt that he walked in to take a commanding lead with six holes to play.

Hole 11 – Par 4

Another pair of great drives from the leaders put them hitting their second from just short of the green. Brady’s shot from the fairway came up on the front of the green, far from the back pin. Mickelson lagged a great putt to set up par, but Rodgers cashed a birdie putt from outside 10 feet to extend the lead.
