I like to try and play all year round, but you have to keep the mindset of that the cold days are just to keep the swing intact and you cant expect much. When the balls run on the green and never stop, and when the tee boxes are too frozen to get a tee in it is getting there lol.

As long as it's not windy, I'll play in anything. This weekend it was 40 with about 30 mph wind gusts and that was a bit too much. I've played when it's in the 20's, and as long as I have a beanie and some hand warmers for the pockets, I'm good to go!

Generally give it up when there it gets so cold that the greens and water hazards freeze, and you can't tell the difference between hitting a shot onto the green, onto the cart path, or onto (not into) water hazard.
