Does anybody have any seasonal data on the prices fetched by used golf clubs?

jvalhalla

I've been watching some stuff on Ebay...things seem to be selling okay. It seems like a lot of excess new stock is being sold on there from golf stores at fairly low prices. That would lead me to believe the used clubs are going to be pushed even lower for last year's clubs.

puttingmatt

I generally make upgrades to the bag in the fall since my swing is still in great form. But selling equipment, thats a tough one. Most of the time you will see a 66% or greater hit on used clubs.

Micah J

A lot of golf trade shows this time of year..pretty good market for last year's line.

browne11

Stuff may not sell fast this time of year, but I doubt anything will fetch more money 5 months from now. I feel with golf equipment, it only goes down in price as time goes by, with the exception of some high end stuff.
