Golfers should always call the Golf Info Line at 201-336-7280 prior to arrival at a Bergen County public golf course to hear daily course condition messages. Weather and conditions will determine if a golf course is open on any given day. An advanced reservation does not guarantee a golf course will be open.

What time does Valley Brook open?

Valley Brook is currently open for play from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm daily. Overpeck is currently open for play from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm daily. Rockleigh is currently open for play from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm daily.

When does golf registration expire?

Any golfer that has already renewed or registered for 2021 has been activated for the year, and this will not expire until December 31, 2021.

Is Bergen County a CDC?

County of Bergen public golf courses will continue to adhere to all CDC guidelines and executive orders mandating interior and exterior dining restrictions. All Golfers are required to wear face coverings when entering the clubhouse. Social distancing measures are required in all settings when on the golf course. Originally named for the brook that creates its western border, the course and clubhouse were renovated in 2001 and renamed Valley Brook Golf Club.

How many acres are there in Overpeck Golf Course?

The Overpeck Golf Course sits on 140 acres at the top of New Jersey’s Meadowlands. The course is located in a natural wet setting with a number of ponds, lakes and creeks to test the most skilled golfer.

Where is Darlington Golf Course?

The Darlington Golf Course is a 6,547-yard par 71 in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountain Range. Tree lined fairways and frequent changes in elevation ensure a challenging and pleasurable golf experience. The course begins and ends on the lowest part of the course. Holes 1-3 and 15-17 are on relatively flat terrain where bunkers and water hazards create the challenge. The stretch of five par 4’s, beginning with #6, are routed through rolling hills where accuracy and distance control are at a premium. The long #9, at 476 yards, tests even the most accomplished golfer.
