How deep should a fairway drain be?

Fairway drainage does not generally need to be deep, with 450mm being typical for plastic pipe laterals and 500mm minimum for 100mm carrier drains. The use of quality drainage aggregate above the laterals is vital: clean 6mm, or 4/10mm gravel is ideal and widely available.

A typical 18-hole course may cover around fifty hectares and to properly understand actual or potential waterlogging problems it is necessary to appreciate how water moves onto, across, and off the entire course. All existing watercourses (streams, ditches, ponds, main carrier pipes, etc.) should be plotted to enable an assessment of the existing arterial drainage system.

Feedback

It's a personal thing. Myself I'm a big time fan of heavier static weights in my clubs. I use TT X100's in my irons. Rifle 6.5's in my woods. Driver's I don't like anything less than a 85 gram shaft. Might sound strange but I put a steel rifle 6.5 in one of my drivers just to see what would happen.

Feedback

I like heavier clubs myself, but I grew up on x100's and 100 gram fairway wood shafts. Things sure have changed. To answer your question no, heavier clubs will not create more distance.

Feedback

ive been doing alot of playing around with driver shafts lately. I have a swing speed of around 100 and I found that the motore speeder 7.1 was going longer and felt better in the swing than the 65gram shafts. Im actaully hitting the 70 gram shaft farther than the lighter ones and I dont have a fast swing speed.
