I don't have a problem with my bag that has the external slot. Thanks anyway for the suggestion. That bag works well because the putter touches the bottom of the slot. In that case the putter doesn't hang suspended by the headcover.

That putter saver would be perfect if it wasn't as deep. I still might try it but it looks like I would have the same problem because the top of the saver extends above the top of the display bag. I suspect that my putter would not touch the bottom and still be suspended by a headcover that is held together by magnets. Thanks for the suggestions.

Now that I think of it. The putter saver might work by using H. Longshanks suggestion from above. Stuff it with packing materials or something and it would be on the level. Anyone else have a different suggestion? Thanks.

why not get a tighter fitting headcover and just let it hang or slightly fall into the bag. did you know the reason standard putter length is 35 has to do with bag height and very little to do with actually fitting the average golfer

Schauffele had been using two Mavrik Sub Zero models from Callaway but it appears an Epic Speed Triple Diamond three-wood has gone in alongside a Mavrik Sub Zero seven-wood. He occasionally puts a five-wood in the bag to replace the seven, but this will depend on conditions and the course.

His irons have recently changed from a set of Callaway Apex Pro prototypes, to a set of Apex TCB prototypes. They go from four iron down to pitching wedge and have Nippon shafts. The TCB's have proven to be extremely popular on Tour with world number one Jon Rahm also putting them in the bag.

Finally his ball is the Callaway Chrome Soft X LS. He changed in 2021 at Memorial, moving to the ball designed to lessen driver spin. According to Callaway, Schauffele saw a 200 rpm drop in spin across the bag, giving him the spin window he was looking for. He would subsequently win the Gold medal at the Olympics with this ball.
