Is there a dump station in the historic recreation area?

RV's and large trailers are recommended to use the west entrance into the historic recreation area due to low clearance on the east end. While there are camp sites that can accommodate larger RV's, not all sites are RV friendly, enter with caution.

The wildlife along this section of the Snake River is abundant. Tons of wildlife. We saw lots of hawks, pelicans, fish, small birds, snakes, and a river otter. So much wildlife that we got the crap scared out of us in the middle of the night when something crashed into the hood of our rig followed by loud screeches.
Where is the boat ramp on Bicentennial Road?
You'll pass two with large parking lots. One is the boat ramp on Bicentennial Road. The other is a boat ramp/picnic area on Site Center road. You'll also pass one of the entrances for the Oregon Trail. It's a paved foot path but off to the side you'll see markers for the actual trail.
Is there a camping area after the train trestle?
After the train trestle there are no more camping areas, it's just the exit. Each area has a BLM sign with a unique name for those camping spots and all had vault toilets, with dumpsters or trash cans. Camping areas are not paved and some spots have deep lose gravel.
