The course is a typical desert course. The bunkering is terrific with white sand at the right depth to make play from the sand pretty straightforward. The greens give the appearance of being quite small, yet there is plenty of landing room on all holes. Elevated greens is the norm for a fair few holes. The back nine is the game changer. Spectacular boulder outcrops and back drops for a number of the holes, with magnificent views of Scottsdale and Phoenix. The greens were possibly the finest I have played on anywhere.
