Feedback

Hey guys. I just picked up some new Lamkin grips from Golfsmith and they're on the way. But I didn't realize they were .600 core until after.

Feedback

Just make sure you build up your shaft OD to .600 before your 2 sided tape and you'll be fine.

Feedback

Actually either grip size will work fine for either shaft size but the .580 grip size will be approximately 1/16th larger in cirumference than a .600 grip assuming the same number of tape wraps is used for both. Of course you can always use a few extra wraps of tape on the .600g grip if necessary.

Feedback

I don't believe that you will find any DG Stiff products that are .580" as I have never seen anything ever listed that wasn't .600". Only R flex shafts come in .580". You need to get yourself a digital caliper which are fairly cheap if you don't buy them from a golf supplier.

Feedback

There are actually 2 things to consider...the diameter of the shaft and the internal diameter of the grip, and well, a third is important, the actual thickness of the grip. Most Lamkin grips are .580 internal diameter and on a .600 shaft the grip will feel a bit larger, only if the actual thickness of the grip is, per se, standard thickness.

Feedback

They can be all over the lot for size. Quite a number list .600 but they are larger. Many list .600 and are .610. You need to really measure them to find out the real truth.
