Background
Through a partnership with the enthusiastic volunteers at Vancouver/Clark Disc Golf and Stumptown Disc Golf, the idea was formed to develop a disc golf course in a Vancouver City Park. Many properties were reviewed for compatibility with a disc golf course.
Location at Leverich Park
Leverich Community Park is just east of I-5 and north of 39th St. in the heart of Vancouver. The disc golf course starts with the first tee near the south parking lot. If this lot is full, park near the picnic shelter off of Leverich Park Way and follow the path through the park to the south end.
Rules
Park rules apply to the disc golf course. Park hours are from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and there are no fees to play disc golf in the park during regular park hours. Please respect the natural setting of this park and the habitat areas. Use the paved pathways at all times to get from tees and greens.

Jason & Steve will be at Leverich at 9 a.m. to install a couple garbage cans and build a tee pad for hole 12. If we get enough help we would also like to do a little maintenance on the "stairs" from 5 to 6. If you can come out be at the upper parking lot at 9 a.m. with your gloves.

Thanks to the Fall League players at Leverich Park we have purchased and are awaiting delivery of a couple new garbage baskets to be place ON the course.

I called today to talk with my Parks Rep. and this meeting is basically an informational meeting with another in person/online survey to follow. The two most requested uses for the park are (no surprises here) equestrian facilities and disc golf (thanks to our online friends).

Course Closed due to Sealcoating
72nd Ave Entrance and entire course closed while seal coating is in progress. We're hopefully open 24 hours after the job is done; needs time to cool and set before cars can drive over it and discs skid across it. Thanks for your patience, all!
