With the plate removed you'll see 5 plastic round pop rivets (similar to below) you need a small screw driver or punch and need to push the pins through from the front then the rivets will just pull out, be careful not to loose the pin in the bumper.

Hiya mate. I’ve just took my plinth off and I lost the bits down the bumper but I wasn’t putting another plinth on. My only concern is will the bits come out when I’m driving or are they stuck there rattling??

I replaced my surround after a van slowly reversed into me cracking the plastic. I couldn’t seem to push mine through so I drilled them out. They cost 17p each from TPS to replace along with the new mount.
