Where to stay in NYC during US Open?
During the US Open, both the subway and LIRR send extra trains to and from the Mets-Willets Point Station at the busiest times. If I had to choose, my recommendation on the better area of NYC in which to stay (nicer, more shops, restaurants, attractions) is near Grand Central, but both Times Square and Penn Station have tons to offer.
