History
Founded in 1893 in Moore Park as a 9-hole course and moved to Rosedale, Toronto in 1895–1896 on what is now Rosedale Field. It was a 15 acres eighteen hole course that ran along Highland Avenue from just west of the Rosedale Field to as far as Glen Road and just north of Summerhill Avenue.
Tournaments
The club has hosted several tournaments including the Canadian Open in 1912 and 1928. In more recent years, the club has elected to only host tournaments that cause little disruption to the membership. The course record of 63 is held jointly by Greg Norman and former Rosedale assistant pro, Lorne Rowe.

Clubhouse makeover
The Links occupies 237 acres which Rosedale earlier acquired from Schroeder-Manatee Ranch (SMR), the developer of Lakewood Ranch. This acreage is programmed for 445 residential lots which when built out will bring the total number of Rosedale homes close to the 1,100 mark.
New and resale homes available
For move-in ready homes in Rosedale, M/I homes has ten in its inventory with three more scheduled for completion early in early 2014. These newly built residences are priced in the $300s and the $400s. Their floor areas range from 1,652 to 3,020 square feet.
