Who is the new owner of Silverado Resort?
At least 20 employees, including top managers, were let go Friday as Silverado Resort prepares for new owners and a new management company. The 18-hole "Silver Oaks" course at the Silverado Golf & Country Club facility in Zephyrhills, Florida features 6,663 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.5 and it has a slope rating of 126. Designed by Robert Simmons, the Silver Oaks golf course opened in 1987.
Flyover
This is a pretty decent layout, but it's obvious that they have put very little time or money into the course for quite some time now. And the carts are a joke...incredibly slow. That said, I still had a good time and the course was fun.
