I like the Lamkin Cord's, but showing my age here. You used to be able to send a check or money order to Lamkin and they would mail the grips to your house. Long time before the internet. You could even get them sent COD and they would add a 5 dollar charge to the amount. Times have really changed.

I prefer the feel of the tour velvet cords over the Lamkin cross line cords. As for logo down, I have done it this way for a while, maybe it had to do with tiger but mainly it is because I don't have to worry about aligning them exactly straight as i have has a few clubs with logo up and if they are even a hair off it is quite distracting.

I played the Lamkin Crossline and Tour Black full cords my entire life until switching to the NDMC two years ago. They give me the same amount of grip bit are easier on the hands. They do wear out WAY quicker though. Has nothing to do with brands for me just the actual grip I prefer.
