The 9-hole "Point Venture" course at the Point Venture Golf Club facility in Point Venture, Texas features 3,100 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 34.2 and it has a slope rating of 112 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Jimmy Demaret, the Point Venture golf course opened in 1973.

First course i played at. Being a beginner its a nice course to learn at. No sandtraps, but inexpensive to play with some nice scenary. There are some houses on the course that could be moved. I played one hole and was afraid of hitting a kid jumping on a trampoline. Overall good course for the value.

How many holes are there in PV?
Played 18 holes at PV’s 9 hole golf course and had a great time! The weather was beautiful and the course offered several views of the Lake Travis. The course is tough for a 9 hole course but not to difficult for kids and adults who want to play without sand and water hazards. Keep the ball in the fairways and you will really enjoy your round of golf here at PV. Justin the Pro and his support staff are great and a joy to be around. Also deer everywhere!
