I had the VS 80 gram x shaft in my driver and I liked it. I also bought some 75 grams shafts for my irons but they were too light. I kept one for my 4 iron to use as a driving iron with a 20 gram back

I had the VS 80 gram x shaft in my driver and I liked it. I also bought some 75 grams shafts for my irons but they were too light. I kept one for my 4 iron to use as a driving iron with a 20 gram backweight and it's not bad, although I should have ordered the stiff instead of the x. They are not expensive.

Pretty much a dead/out of touch website. The old Accuflex owner (Jody Baucom) left the golf shaft business and went into hair care for a career in the late oughts. No lie. Works for a well known hair care product line.

No. Not for a long time. There are still some on line shops that have new old stock to get rid of. I tried the Assassin II driver shaft in the mid 2000's. It was a good shaft. Reasonably priced. It might have looked better than it performed. Really nice deep candy apple red color. Seemed many people liked Accuflex shafts with SMT driver heads.

Wow- trip down memory lane, had both the silver ion 65 gram Creation and the copper ion 80 gram as well- the original stuff was very good, think have a Nickent hybrid with Icon hybrid somewhere in my stash.

rb2golf

Guys, the Accuflex Creation 65 XX was one of the greatest shafts ever produced, even to this day. I have one from roughly 12 years ago that I played on the mini tours, and still outperforms everything else I’ve tried.
