Basically Ping Eye 2 clones from the mid-late 80's (though that grip looks newer). I'm pretty sure Arnold Palmer was an endorser for a while and they went by Palmer Peerless during that time. Decent clubs for the time - that little wing on the back of the hosel was supposed to help square up the clubface thru impact.

I concur. The early models, of that time period, King Cobra irons, also had a smallish fin on the hosel. I was reminiscing today about a knockoff set of Ping clones that I had back in the day and remembering how well they played, so these should be fine for you.

Peerless PHDs are far from being "Eye 2 clones." LOL Peerless was, for a time, the component division of Palmer Golf. The Peerless PHD irons came in two models, PHD and PHD Tours.

For some odd reason that little "spoiler" or airfoil annoyed me. It is probably me being anal. We had a couple of sets in the golf shop that the Lord only knows where they came from and I always wanted to take my cut off wheel and modify them but I did not.
