Where is Tetherow Golf Course?
July 25, 2020. Tetherow GC is located in the outer fringes of the bustling town of Bend in Central Oregon, USA . David McLay Kidd made his name in the golf industry as the architect of the inaugural course at Bandon Dunes just down the road, and was a natural choice to build Tetherow GC, which he completed in 2008.
What is the best hole in Tetherow?
The word overkill comes to mind. However, one of the best hole at Tetherow is the split fairway par-4 6th -- you can play it aggressively to the more narrower left or cautiously to the right. The main issue is the putting surface which looks like the Atlantic Ocean on a stormy day.
Can you run out of run down the left side of the golf course?
Off the tee the hole turns right -- you can run out of run down the left side although from the tee it looks quite appealing. The green is simply a delight -- elevated and any shot that lands on the green had best have brakes because going left or over the back is not going to provide a promising future.
