Where is Wrag Barn in Wiltshire?

Wrag Barn is on the outskirts of Highworth Wiltshire .#N#The 18 hole course was built by my husband Tim Manners and we welcome members and visitors to play here.#N#We have a large clubhouse where we host weddings, parties, wakes and conferences in 2 large function rooms.#N#My current campaign is to promote Women's golf and our Juniors through Social media and a fun can do attitude.#N#I'm a Switch on to Swindon and 105.5 FM Swindon Presenter - growing awareness of all that our part of Wiltshire has to offer.

What is a wrag barn?

Wrag Barn is a busy golf club with a strong membership and a loyal database of visiting societies and pay and play golfers. Our Junior Section is strong and we are one of the few golf clubs that dedicates a week every year to our Junior Section.

Where is Wrag Barn Golf Club?

Wrag Barn - Wiltshire - England. Located just outside the little market town of Highworth, the 18-hole layout at Wrag Barn Golf Club is a 1989 Simon Gidman design (when he worked with Hawtree Ltd) which the Manners family built and still operate.

How many acres are there in Wrag Barn Golf Course?

Description: Designed by Simon Gidman in 1990 when the architect was with Hawtree Ltd, the Wrag Barn golf course is set in more than 200 acres that once formed part of Lord Banbury's Estate.

First time for a good while, course in great condition, not as busy as I was expecting, very enjoyable round.

Great course

My home course and I can see why visitors will be impressed. Good layout, high quality greens, friendly staff and well worth a visit.

Best course within 10 miles of Swindon

Very welcoming club, course in good condition for the time of year- dry no temporary tee boxes or greens. Bit of run on the fairways, green receptive but rolled true. Small driving range to warm up on. Great layout, love 18th up the hill driving off over a lake- very enjoyable round

Visitors and non-members are welcome at Wrag Barn Golf Club along with well behaved dogs.

Corporate - Gold Membership

Memberships are based on play being restricted to Mon-Fri anytime, Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays after 12.00
