If you are planning to drive abroad from the UK it's important to familiarise yourself with local rules for drivers before you go. France for example has introduced several significant changes recently where you are now required to carry extra safety equipment in your vehicle, such as high visibility jackets and a breathalyser.

If you are driving to your golf break destination in the UK then it is a good idea to check the traffic status along your intended route to make sure you arrive well before that first tee time.

Information for Golfers

Many golf courses require proper golf attire such as collared shirts, shorts of a certain length, no denim etc. We cannot accept any responsibility in any ruling by the hotel/golf course if you or any of your group is unable to play due to inappropriate attire. Please check before you travel that your group is aware of appropriate golfing attire.

The people at YGT make this job what it is. There is no other company out there where I would feel that same sense of comradery and brotherhood. This is a sales job for your own commission but one that you still want your fellow employee to do as well as yourself.

Welcoming, Friendly and Supportive

Induction was good and covered everything that was required without the normal over kill. All team members irrespective of seniority have been extremely helpful during what has been an extremely busy time within the business.

Really bad management. They don't have empathy for the employees. Very old school

Reality did not meet expectations

Benefits were very basic and did not match what was sold by Recruitment when offered the role - you get told there is bonus and salary review, however this has not been given for many years unless you are in the “in crowd” Fam trips and discounted/ free holidays - non existent unless working in the sales teams- you basically do not matter unless you are in sales.
