You overthink this, they should be strait forward with a propane torch, but you can always wrap a wet towel around the head itself, but this heads should not be like FT driver heads where we use both cool gel and a heated rod inside the shafts.

Like Howard, said, torch and twist for the fastest pulls. Be aware that all these PXG irons have a lot of extra hosel space so you are going to need some shims and or collared ferrules. Personally having just done a set, I would not use the official PXG collared ferrules.

As said above, and having done many sets of PXG irons......pull the steel shafts as normal with a propane torch heated on the hosel. PXG uses a 0.370 hosel bore.

You're not heating the area where the polymer is located. Get a good vise, make sure the club is on the vise snug and tight. Take a torch and heat the hosel and shaft area. Move the torch heat around the entire hosel or you will torch the hosel too much.

If you are heating the head hot enough to require a mitt then you are using too much heat. I pull iron heads with my bare hand.
