In what seems like the blink of an eye, the 2017 RSM Classic has come and gone! It was another wonderful year full of new memories, winners and giving! We have so much to be proud about in this season of thanks and giving.

We’re teeing off The RSM Classic today here at beautiful Sea Island, GA! This is the eighth year of this PGA TOUR tournament, which has become one of the premier stops on the TOUR each year.

May 29th is the 20th anniversary of the Supreme Court's 7-2 decision for Casey Martin vs. the PGA Tour, enabling him & other golfers with disabilities to use carts during competition. Martin, 48, is the longtime Oregon men's coach & this month led the Ducks to a 14th straight NCAA regionals berth. Who won the Safeway Open?
Stewart Cink won the Safeway Open for his first victory in 11 years. Martin Laird ended seven years without winning in Las Vegas. Brian Gay won in Bermuda, his first victory in more than seven years. In 11 tournaments of the new season, Streb is the fifth winner to be ranked outside the top 300 in the world.
Who finished at Sea Island in 2015?
Kisner, whose first of of three PGA Tour titles came at Sea Island in 2015, closed with a 63. They finished at 19-under 263, one shot ahead of Cameron Tringale (62). Kisner had the advantage on the 18th hole on the Seaside course for the first playoff hole.
What shot did Streb miss?
Streb missed a pair of 5-footers on the back nine, one for par and another for birdie on the par-5 15th, but he delivered the key shots when he needed. One of them was his 6-iron on the 17th. The shot he'll remember is the pitching wedge he nearly jarred that gave him the victory.
