Personally I don't buy $200 golf shoes. I wait until the $200 shoes are a year old and then buy them for $100 or somewhere in that ballpark. And as for being worth it, hell yes. I have one pair of cheap adidas spikes and I almost never wear them. They just aren't as comfortable and good as my more expensive pairs.
