I can relate to your problem. I do notice that I shoot worse when I'm coming off of a great round. I guess I get too overconfident and don't focus on the fundamentals. 3 days ago, I shot the best round of my life, an 87, this morning I shot a 94. I thought I was where I needed to be, and was paying less attention to what I was doing.

You want to work on a solid practice routine on the range and on the course, if you can isolate each shot as one shot then hitting a cut 3 iron on the range should have the same approach as a 9 iron on the 17th when you are on a good score.
