I need a good feel for swinging left, or any way to help me stop coming from so far inside. I recently had a trackman session where I found out my backswing was on plane but then I drop my hands under the plane in the downswing. My club path was anywhere from 7 degrees right on a good swing, to 13 degrees right on a bad hook.

Just because you are way to the inside does not mean you area flipper (if you hit BLOCKS) hooks yes.

an easier method i used is to setup a pillow of sorts or something in front of your right foot, which will force you to come in down the line, or even a bit over the top... if you come too far inside, you'll hit the pillow...

It is very difficult to hit a pulled hook coming at the ball from too far inside. In fact, I am pretty certain that it is impossible. To pull the ball, the clubhead path has to be coming from the outside, and when this pull is also a hook, the club face had to be closed at impact.

Haha thank you cypressperch, and thanks to everyone who has given me drills. I have just gotten home from a memorial day weekend vacation, but will be heading to the course many times this week to practice on some of the things you guys said.

See for me as of now, I am coming too far from the inside thus leaving the face open. When i flip my hands the ball sometimes will start to (left for lefty) or right for righty and then hook back toward target. So it would start left because of the open clubface and then hook back into the fairway (if i was lucky).
