Why choose tire balls?
The answer is simple – durability and dependability! Tire Balls are made of a special urethane, that is ten (10) times more durable than the common inner tubes, you find in OEM applications! Additionally, Tire Balls are extremely light weight. Elimination of weight will increase your tires performance!
How do tire balls work on ATVs?
Most commonly Tire Balls will increase the performance of your vehicle’s suspension and improve your traction. Typically your ATV’s suspension performance is enhanced by eliminating air transfer away from the tire’s contact patch. Upon obstacle impact, a conventional tube or tubeless tire, air moves away from the impact zone.

Do golf balls really make a difference?
Golf balls have different layers, different spin rates, different compression ratings, and a few others. Most people just use whatever ball they found in the bushes the round before. That's fine if you're just out to hack the ball around, but if you want to improve, it's probably not the best choice.
Why do golf balls travel so far?
STEM Connection: Bernoulli's Principle explains how objects generate aerodynamic lift. Lift is partly responsible for getting golf balls to travel as far as they do. The weight of an object makes it harder to lift.
What is wheel tramp?
1 Answer: Amir Azman. The wheel-lifting action or hopping motion caused by static unbalance. Motion may be up-and-down or forward-and-backward, caused by centrifugal force acting on a heavy tire section located near the tread-face center.
Why are semi truck tires not balanced?
Since it hasn't been proven that balancing drive & trailer tires reduce tire wear or vehicle maintenance costs, most fleets will not invest the cost to balance these wheel positions.
Why are golf balls so expensive?
The economics is simple, more layers mean more research, which means more money, and therefore a higher retail price. All golf balls start life as a core, made from a synthetic compound, and as a minimum also feature a cover. It's the materials used in these which play some part in the price.
Should you always use the same golf ball?
By playing the same ball every time you tee it up, you will start to eliminate performance differences from various ball models which will build confidence and consistency which will aid you in shooting lower scores.”
Do expensive golf balls help?
The average golfer won't get enough benefit to justify paying the higher price and would be better off using that money to work on their swing. The only benefit to an expensive golf ball would be the increased spin around the green and the nice soft feel at impact.
Why are there 336 dimples on a golf ball?
Essentially, golfers would have little hope controlling a smooth golf ball. When dimples are added to a golf ball, it creates a tiny layer of air around the golf ball that significantly cuts down drag. This forces the air to flow over a larger portion of the ball, which results in a much smoother ball flight.
Why is a golf hole 4.25 inches?
Four-and-a-quarter inches in diameter. R&A ADOPTS 4.25-INCH HOLE SIZE That first hole-cutting implement utilized a cutting tool that was, you guessed it, 4.25 inches in diameter. The folks running the R&A apparently liked that size and so adopted it in their rules for 1891.
Why do cars not have dimples in golf balls?
The dimples in a golf ball promote an earlier transition to turbulent flow and thus reduce the pressure drag of the golf ball, so it can fly further. In a car, the size is large enough to develop a turbulent boundary layer early on. Dimples would not help, but increase drag slightly.
What is a tire ball?
Tire Balls are individual, inflated air cells, made of a urethane that is 10 times more punct ure resistant than a heavy duty tube , creating a type of run‐flat technology. Each Tire Ball has a valve similar to a basketball and is inflated by a standard needle.
Why do tire balls increase air pressure?
There is a unique increase in air pressure caused by compression of air in the contact zone. Without Tire Balls running lower pressure generally leads to bent rims, increased incidences of pinch flats and cut sidewalls, ruining your ride. Using Tire Balls, greater stability is achieved, even at lower air pressures.
How much pressure should I put in my tireball?
A standard and safe starting pressure for most riders, is to set each TireBall equal to the tire pressure you normally run. Example: 12 psi in Motorcycle Inner Tube equates to 12 psi in each TireBall cell. If you run 6 psi in ATV tubeless tires, run 6 psi in each TireBall cell.
Why do racers have modified tire pressures?
For years, racers have modified tire pressures, in an attempt to gain greater traction, with only varied success.
What is a tubeless tire?
Upon obstacle impact, a conventional tube or tubeless tire, air moves away from the impact zone. With Tire Balls, the individual air cells allow for progressive increased air pressure, resulting in a smoother rider. Tire Balls will increase your vehicles traction.

It's worth reading 25/16, so I'll post it. I'll also point out that during this year's Players Championship, Kevin Na got free relief from an unmarked tire track in the right rough on 18 because he asked an official.

In my opinion, they should revisit this ruling. At the very least I think they should allow relief from tire tracks in fairways. But I also think the embedded ball rule should be extended through the green and not just fairways.

At least on my home course, it's been a very wet fall, and they haven't roped off or marked the areas that haven't drained well. So dopes in carts plow right through those spots and leave cart tracks in many places.

lol...yet you're ok if someone "corrects" me and even +1 it...even though there is a different interpretation of the saying and admit that there is.

Alligators, as reptiles, seem to qualify as making some abnormal ground conditions. Though I'd submit that carts and tractors do not.
