Could mean that you are catching the tee fairly level and flicking it back out of the ground most likely. That's good, better than hitting down and driving it in. Lifting it out and throwing to forward could be better, more upward attack. Or it could all mean nothingness.

I use epochs and if I hit one well it always shoots directly opposite the shot direction. I think the tee bends forward into the turn and launches back after hitting. Before when I used other tees they would either break or it was pretty random.

My view is that if it flies forwards, your angle of attack is too steep, hitting too high on the face, and the tee is being driven forward by heavy contact on the face. It seems like there are too many variables here to rely upon this as an indicator of your swing. How long is the tee, and how deeply is it stuck into the ground? What is the consistency of the dirt? Rock hard, muddy, loose and loamy? How deep is the driver face? The ideal contact spot may be a different distance from the sole, depending upon driver face. One thing I've noticed in my swing: When I'm having my most consistent driving days, my tee is right where I left it, stuck in the ground.

Im fairly sure that the tee rebounds backwards when you hit down on a driver. you want the tee to stay in the ground to prove you have swept it slightly on the upswing, obviously you cant hit above the sweetspot this way for vertical gear effect however

my AOA with driver is consistently around +4.8* and I tee it pretty high because I hover the driver at address. if I don't pick it off the tee, my tee is always in front of me......usually to the effect of 10 or more feet.
