The PRO tags are powered by 3V coin cell batteries. The battery life of each tag is up to 2 years depending on usage. You may use some clubs more than others so this can vary from club to club. The initial batches of PRO devices are glued so the batteries are not replaceable. However, GAME GOLF will have a battery replacement program where we change the batteries and plastics when the batteries run out. We have a new design coming for the plastics which will remove the need for the tags to be glued. This will mean that users will be able to replace the tags themselves when the batteries run out.
