Rubber belts will fit more snugly when warm/hot. I would be concerned with an over tight belt. Did you contact Comp?

Contacted Comp and evidently they have screwed up. The replacement belt (tight one) is a gates belt. The guy at comp went and opened another box and it is like the original. Evidently they ran out of the originals at some point and started putting some other garbage in the box. No belt stretcher necessary.
