Has anyone ever purchased a value grade club from Global Golf? They have a sand wedge that goes with my iron set and I'm wondering how rough it might be.

KjBowen

I don't know why anyone would buy a wedge with value rating. That's like buying a wedge that you have to replace.

I'll provide another counter-point to the earlier points, and of course YMMV and every club will be different. I've probably purchased 10 value condition clubs this past year, and I have not been disappointed in any of them as long as I could tolerate some cosmetic blemishes.

I feel like the rating skews for lefties too. Value seems to be clubs that were actually played. Good are demos and anything above that has been typically new. The only time I hesitate to buy value is with woods because they seem to have paint damage more times than not.
