Anytime.......I actually like playing the later afternoon, especially in the summer. Tee off at 3-4 and you can still get in 36 if you are a relatively fast player. I have no real preference in the winter.

I like to play late in the day. My work does not allow me to get home to 6:00/7:00 pm most evenings, so I get out late. Just before dusk is my favorite time to be out. Same on weekends. Outside of my Saturday skins game which is at 8:00am, I normally go back late in the day and play again.
