Must be a location thing. The one I’ve been to (Griffith Park driving range) was very accurate. This is the full setup with individual screens in each bay. At the end of the day, it’s not going to be as accurate as a full on launch monitor just because of the limitations of the system, but I was still pretty impressed.

There's a Toptracer range near me and the numbers I've seen appear to be fairly accurate. The longer clubs are the only place where it seems to struggle a little, but even then it's still usable.
